Amit Shah Warns Of RJD’s ‘Jungle Raj’ Return At Bhagalpur Rally

Amit Shah warns Bhagalpur voters against RJD’s ‘jungle raj’ return, contrasting past lawlessness with NDA-led development initiatives and governance.

Amit Shah Warns Of RJD’s ‘Jungle Raj’ Return At Bhagalpur Rally

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday cautioned voters in Bihar against the return of ‘jungle raj’, claiming that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) seeks to revive the lawlessness of its past.

At a rally in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, Shah warned that the RJD is reviving its ‘jungle raj’ era in a new form.

He urged citizens not to fall for the ‘lofty and populist’ promises of the opposition. “Your one vote will strengthen them and aid their efforts to bring back jungle raj,” he said.

Shah targeted Mahagathbandhan leaders, including Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, accusing them of nepotism and corruption. “Lalu Yadav wants his son as Chief Minister, and Sonia Gandhi wants her son as Prime Minister. But listen carefully: neither Rahul will become Prime Minister nor Tejashwi will become Chief Minister, because Modi ji is in Delhi and Nitish Kumar ji is in Bihar,” he asserted.

Highlighting Development and Governance

The Home Minister drew a sharp contrast between the lawlessness of the RJD regime and the ‘sushashan’ under the Nitish Kumar-led government.

He highlighted initiatives aimed at empowering the poor and the farming community, including the establishment of the Makahana Board and the revival of the Barauni power plant and several sugar mills.

Shah further reiterated the Centre’s commitment to industrial development in the state, promising the establishment of sugar mills in regions with adequate water resources.

“People of Bhagalpur, wherever there is water, the Modi government will commence work to operate 25 new sugar mills,” he declared.

The Union Minister concluded by urging voters to remain steadfast in supporting the NDA, framing it as the choice for stability, development, and protection from the return of past misgovernance.
