Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years as head of government, praising his leadership, governance and commitment to public service.
In a post on X, Shah described PM Modi’s 25-year journey as one marked by tireless work, determination and the principle of putting the nation first. He recalled that on October 7, 2001, PM Modi took the oath as Gujarat Chief Minister, beginning a continuous journey of public service that later took him to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Shah said PM Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister and Prime Minister had become associated with the welfare of the poor, empowerment of women, opportunities for youth and the prosperity of all sections of society.
