All Members Of Govt & Opposition Should Contribute To Growth Of UP: Yogi

Lucknow: Before the monsoon session began on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the media at Vidhan Bhawan, announcing the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh Legislature’s monsoon session. He extended a warm welcome to all MLAs, Legislative Council members, and colleagues from various parties who have contributed to the smooth conduct of the Legislative Assembly proceedings. He also acknowledged the efforts of the officers associated with the Assembly-Legislative Council Secretariat.

CM Yogi Adityanath assured that the monsoon session would proceed smoothly. He expressed his commitment to addressing any constructive concerns the opposition members might raise, emphasizing the administration’s dedication to resolving issues related to the state’s development and welfare.

He highlighted that Uttar Pradesh had already passed its budget in February and that the first supplementary demand would be presented during the monsoon session to meet the state’s needs. He noted that Uttar Pradesh is on the path to becoming the largest emerging economy in the country, attributing the state’s remarkable progress over the past seven years to the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yogi Adityanath urged the House to serve as a platform for discussion, assuring that the government would promptly respond to every issue. He appealed to all Legislative Assembly members to ensure the smooth running of the proceedings and the safe completion of legislative work. He called for collective efforts to ensure the monsoon session’s success.

Acknowledging the holy month of Sawan and the Kanwar Yatra of Shiva devotees, he praised the continuous efforts of public representatives in serving the people. He reiterated the government’s readiness for a positive debate on public welfare and development issues raised by public representatives. He expressed confidence that meaningful discussions on supplementary demands related to the state’s development and public welfare would contribute to the successful expansion of the monsoon session.

Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, and Parliamentary Ministers of State for Works Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh and Jaswant Saini were also present during the address.
