On International Women’s Day, the Fortune Suposhan Project, led by Adani Wilmar, orchestrated celebrations in urban slums including Khojwan, Sundarpur, Nevada, Vinayak, Saraiya, Rajghat, Bazardiha, Lalpura, among others. The event aimed to promote respect for women within the community while also emphasizing their rights.

Various activities, such as chair races, banana races, kho-kho games, and rallies involving women from the community, were organized to elucidate the concept of gender equality. Additionally, women shared their personal success stories, offering insights into their life journeys.

Anganwadi Supervisor, Punita Singh, representing the Women and Child Development Programme, engaged with women to discuss their rights and their role in societal progress. Nutrition Officer Mamta Yadav encouraged women to overcome their inhibitions, stressing that success is within their reach if they strive for it.

The event saw the participation of Assistant Nutrition Officers Sujata Yadav and Jugal Keshari, along with Asha sisters including Sanju Devi, Poonam, Neelam, and Mamta Pandey from the Health Department. Anganwadi workers such as Maya Devi, Vandana, Rajkumari, Anju Devi, Vimla Bharti, Prem Lata, and nutrition partners including Preeti, Rita Verma, Renu, Abida, and Pushpa Devi were also present.

To honor the occasion, Adani Foundation awarded women for their contributions.
