Thousands of people are expected to see India’s World Cup 2023 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, including a number of Bollywood celebrities. Along with his wife Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan was also spotted travelling to Ahmedabad.

Thousands of people are cheering for Team India at the final, including Shah Rukh Khan. In a video that ANI uploaded to X (previously Twitter), Shah Rukh could be seen travelling to Ahmedabad. For the event, the actor wore blue jeans and a white T-shirt. The Jawan actor was sat next to Jay Shah and singer Asha Bhosle at the stadium. For the occasion, he changed into denim pants and a blue T-shirt. He added some black sunglasses to finish the ensemble.

Ranveer and Deepika at the Narendra Modi Stadium

Shah Rukh’s co-star in Jawan, Deepika Padukone, her sister Anisha Padukone, and actor-husband Ranveer Singh were also in the stadium to watch the match. Deepika was seen earlier in the day arriving at Mumbai’s Kalina airport with her father, badminton player Prakash Padukone, and other family members in order to catch the Ahmedabad flight. She was wearing denim pants and a Team India jersey with the word “DP” printed on the back. Conversely, Ranveer wore a blue and white blazer with an orange T-shirt.

Amitabh Bachchan, meanwhile, sent Team India a heartfelt message. From the sets of his game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, he sent the message. “Today, you will be accompanied to the field by 140 brave Indians. The energy of every Indian will be with you on the field, he said. “Vijayi vishwa tiranga pyara, jhanda uncha rahe humara,” the 140 Indians would proudly say as you lift the World Cup in your arms.

When skipper Rohit Sharma and her spouse Virat Kohli were batting, Anushka Sharma was also spotted supporting Team India. Anushka was also welcomed on the strands by Athiya Shetty, whose husband KL Rahul plays for the squad.
