Hollywood icon Will Smith had fans in splits as he celebrated legendary martial arts star Jackie Chan’s 71st birthday with a lighthearted and quirky Instagram post.

The video, posted on April 7, featured Smith holding a ‘J’-shaped balloon, donning a birthday hat, and carrying a cupcake adorned with colorful sprinkles.

They dance together joyfully in the video, then burst into laughter as they dramatically fall, set to the lively rhythm of Harry Belafonte’s ‘Banana Boat (Day-O)’.

Smith captioned the post with: “Happy Bday @jackiechan!! I couldn’t find a video of us together, but this is close enough right?”

Fans and celebrities poured in their wishes, loving the heartfelt and humorous gesture by the Men in Black actor.

Bhangra With Diljit: A Cross-Cultural Jam

In another viral moment, Will Smith was seen learning Bhangra from Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh.

Diljit posted the video on his own Instagram, where both stars appeared to be having a blast dancing to the dhol beats.

While Diljit sported a traditional white kurta and turban, Smith wore a blue sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Jackie Returns In ‘Karate Kid: Legends’

Meanwhile, Jackie Chan is set to return to the big screen with Karate Kid: Legends, alongside Ralph Macchio.

The trailer, released on April 2, teases intense action, mentorship, and the continuation of the beloved martial arts legacy.

The new film introduces Ben Wang as the next Karate Kid and features an ensemble cast including Joshua Jackson, Sadie Stanley, and Ming-Na Wen.

Jonathan Entwistle directs the film, which hits Indian cinemas on May 30, 2025, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
