On July 19, a distressing video showing two Manipur women being stripped, paraded naked, and abused went viral online. Conflicts between the Kukis, a tribe from the hills in the north-eastern state of Manipur, and the majority Meitei, who live in the Imphal Valley, have been going on since May of this year. Following this incident and the subsequent skirmishes, a number of Bollywood A-listers, including Sonu Sood, Kiara Advani, Renuka Shahane, and Akshay Kumar, have denounced the violence that took place in the state.

Is there no one to stop the atrocities in Manipur? If you are not shaken to the core by that disturbing video of two women, is it even right to call oneself human, let alone Bharatiya or Indian!
