Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood is reportedly returning for a second season, with production expected to begin in March 2027.
Reports citing Variety India indicate that the recurring cast from the first season will return, although Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment have yet to publicly announce the complete details.
Lakshya will reportedly reprise his role as Aasmaan Singh, while Sahher Bambba will return as Karishma Talvar.
Bobby Deol is expected to return as superstar Ajay Talvar, alongside Raghav Juyal as Parvaiz and Anya Singh as Sanya.
Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari and Rajat Bedi are also expected to reprise their roles.
The second season will continue the story established in the seven-episode first season.
The show follows Aasmaan, an outsider trying to establish himself in Bollywood while navigating ambition, relationships, rivalries and the industry’s power structure.
The first season ended with a major revelation about Aasmaan and Ajay, leaving the story open for another chapter.
Aryan Khan created and directed the series and co-wrote it with Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Gauri Khan produces the show under Red Chillies Entertainment.
Writer Bilal Siddiqi confirmed in August that Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment were discussing a second season, but he stopped short of officially confirming the renewal.
The latest reports now point toward a March 2027 production schedule. However, the makers have kept the Season 2 storyline, episode count and release date under wraps.
