Sadhguru Not In Favour Of ‘OMG 2’ Getting An ‘A’ Certificate, Akshay Kumar Reacts To His Post On X

At the Coimbatore Isha Yoga Center, Akshay Kumar recently hosted a special screening of his new film, “Oh My God 2,” for Sadhguru. Even Sadhguru, who gave ‘OMG 2’ high accolades, emphasized the need to “educate young people on how to handle their bodily needs.” A second tweet from Sadhguru on August 8 said that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) erred in awarding the movie a “A” certificate. The film, which was directed by Amit Rai, will debut on August 11.

After praising the upcoming movie Oh My God 2 starring Akshay Kumar, Sadhguru has now addressed the censor board’s decision to award the film a “A.” In Coimbatore, Akshay had planned a special screening of OMG 2 for Sadhguru and other Isha Yoga Center members.

Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar both appear in “Oh My God 2.” Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Lord Shiva in the movie is one of the main controversy surrounding it. The censor board recently verified that “OMG 2” has been given a “A – Adults Only” certificate. It’s interesting that this is the first Akshay Kumar movie in 12 years to receive an adults-only rating.

Sadhguru responded to the movie on Twitter after seeing it, writing, “‘A’ Certificate in this case should include Adolescents. The most important place is there. To develop a nation that is Fair & Just to all concerned, education about understanding human biology and responding to an individual’s biological requirements in a dignified and responsible way is crucial.
