Okay, the wait is finally over as Met Gala 2023 has banged the entire globe with its unique style, idea, humanity, art, culture and fashion. It’s a year with a new desi face in the Met Gala. Bollywood’s cutest, Alia Bhatt has made her debut with her grand entry at this year’s gala in New York City. She is indeed looking like the most beautiful angel ever. For her look, she opted for an ivory ball white gown embellished with 100,000 pearls hand beaded in India with a billowing silhouette from the shelves of her designer Prabal Gurung.
The theme for the year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” The exhibit celebrates the legacy of an iconic German designer, creative director, artist and photographer who died in 2019.
Now, let us tell you about Alia’s ensemble – the gown is detailed with pearls throughout and she wore a single glove; pearls and gloves were two of Karl Lagerfeld’s signature elements. Her hair was styled flawlessly and she finished her look with statement earrings and minimal makeup, which made her look more powerful and elegant. In short, the Indian actress, Alia Bhatt slayed in her debut Met Gala appearance. Ahead of her big red carpet moment, Alia teased her netizens and fans with a silhouette shot and she wrote: “And here we go.”
During her debut walk at the Gala, Alia Bhatt was seen twinning with designer Prabal Gurung.
Meanwhile, her sister Shaheen Bhatt, posted pictures of the actress’ red carpet appearance and she perfectly summed up the look with one word- “Angel.”
The iconic Met Gala takes place on the first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This year, besides Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Natasha Poonawalla and Isha Ambani are attending the grand exhibit.
