Vijay joins Instagram
One of the most well-known South Indian actors, Thalapathy Vijay, is the most popular director for Tamil films. The actor has a large following of fans, and almost everyone seems to like him. Despite the fact that the actor is adored by his fans, he has maintained a distance from Instagram for quite some time. Fans eagerly anticipated his Instagram presence, even though he is active on Twitter. The actor finally made his appearance on the platform today, much to the delight of everyone.
The actor’s first post, a recent photo of himself, made him a part of the popular social media platform. As he wrote, “Hello Nanbas and Nanbis,” he addressed his fans and followers. The image was taken on the sets of Leo, a project that he is currently working on. Prior to this, Vijay had a Twitter account where he communicated with his followers, but he took some time off from social media. With an Instagram account, fans can anticipate receiving regular updates and seeing more of the actor on social media.
“Welcome to thalavaa” was written by the actor’s fans to welcome him to the platform for sharing photos and videos. Another writer wrote, Thalapathyyyyyyyy.”

The actor is known for breaking box office records, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he also broke records on social media with his presence. Vijay reached the one million follower mark on Instagram just a few hours after starting his account. For the uninitiated, the well-known boy band from South Korea known as BTS holds the record for the quickest time to reach one million followers. They did so in 43 minutes, beating out Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who holds the record at 59 minutes. Vijay became the third celebrity in 99 minutes to accomplish this feat.
