Christmas 2022 : Christmas vibes are in the air and to get into the groove and excitement to ‘Jingle Bell’ to the tune of Santa Claus’s special visit this Christmas. So everyone’s already counting the days to the end of the year. There’s fun and also a lot of deadlines to be met. Christmas is coming in a few days. In many countries of the world, preparations for this have started with full noise since last one month. However, every country celebrates this festival according to its traditions and practices. Not only children but also elders are very excited to celebrate this festival. Along with India, Christmas holidays ranging from 10 days to one month are also given in many countries.

This means that for almost everyone, this festival is a time of fun and celebration. But you will be surprised to know that there are some countries which do not celebrate Christmas. Christmas is not a public holiday in 40 countries. The reasons are such that you too will be surprised. So let us tell you today about those countries, where Christmas is never celebrated.

Christmas 2022: Afghanistan

Afghanistan is a Muslim country. It has had nothing to do with Christianity for years. There is tension between Christianity and Islam here. Due to religious sentiment, people do not celebrate the festival of Christmas. Even if someone wants to celebrate, it can be very risky for them.

Bhutan

Bhutan is a neighboring country of India and it is also included in those countries where Christmas Day is not celebrated. Buddhism is recognized here. The number of Christians here is less than 1 percent of the country’s population. Even Christmas is not a part of the Bhutanese calendar.

Somalia

Somalia is also included in these countries of the world where Christmas Day is not celebrated. It is said that after the enactment of religious law around 2015, there was a ban on celebrating Christmas here, which continues till today.

China

One of these countries is China, where Christmas is a working day. Here all the schools, offices, shops are open on this day and not even a day’s holiday is given on Christmas. Please tell that China does not believe in any religion, so celebrating Christmas here is completely banned.

Uzbekistan

About 10% of the country is Christian. Despite this, the people here do not celebrate the festival of Christmas. But the celebration of Uzbekistan’s New Year is celebrated like a Christmas festival, where trees and gifts are exchanged.

Pakistan

Pakistan is also a Muslim country. Here the number of Christian community is very less. Christmas Day is not celebrated here, not from today, but for many years. If ever the Christian population wants to celebrate Christmas to express their happiness, then there is a big danger for them.
