Rapper Badshah has shared his thoughts after a turbulent stretch that saw him at the centre of public criticism and personal speculation. He described the past few weeks as intense and challenging, revealing that the experience pushed him beyond his comfort zone.
The situation escalated following the release of his track ‘Tateeree’, which faced criticism for its suggestive visuals and controversial lyrics.
In response to the backlash, the artist issued an apology on social media, acknowledging the concerns raised by audiences.
During the same period, alleged wedding pictures of Badshah with Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi began circulating online, fuelling widespread rumours. Although he did not directly comment on these claims, the speculation added to the ongoing attention around him.
After performing at a concert in London, Badshah posted a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories, expressing appreciation for his fans. He said the energy of the live audience helped him reconnect with his identity and artistic journey.
“I’ll be honest with you, these past few weeks tested me in ways I wasn’t fully prepared for. There’s a version of this life that looks perfect from the outside, and then there’s the reality of what you actually carry when the cameras are off. I’ve been sitting with a lot,” he wrote.
He continued, “But London reminded me of something I needed to be reminded of. That night I remembered who I am and what this is all for.”
The rapper concluded his message on an optimistic note, saying he is ready to begin a new phase in his career. He added that he is working on new music and remains fully committed to his upcoming projects.
“I think I’m ready for the next phase. New music is on its way, and I’m pouring everything into it. Thank you for holding me down even when I couldn’t say why I needed it,” he stated.
Badshah’s remarks indicate a shift towards renewed creativity and focus, despite recent controversies. With strong fan backing and new releases in progress, he appears determined to turn the page and continue evolving as an artist.
