Ahead of the nationwide release of Hanuman Ansh on 7 August, producer Anupriya A Nagar met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari and spiritual leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam in New Delhi.
During separate meetings held this week, each expressed appreciation for the film’s trailer and its portrayal of faith, devotion and selfless service inspired by Sri Neem Karoli Baba.
Hanuman Ansh is based on the life and teachings of Sri Neem Karoli Baba, the revered saint of Kainchi Dham.
The film traces his spiritual journey and unwavering devotion to Lord Hanuman, whose divine influence forms the heart of the story.
Produced by A Swambhu Media Network, the film also features ten original devotional songs and chants rooted in the traditional kirtan culture associated with Baba’s teachings.
Producer Anupriya A Nagar, an economist-turned-film producer, researched Baba’s life extensively by meeting families and individuals who knew him personally.
A graduate in Economics from the University of Bath, Anupriya A Nagar has also addressed the House of Lords in the United Kingdom. Before production began, she completed 43 days of reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, describing the project as a deeply personal and spiritual journey.
Speaking about the film, Anupriya A Nagar said she believes the story found her, adding that she felt honoured to introduce Baba’s legacy to a new generation and help share his timeless message of devotion and compassion.
As part of the promotional campaign, Anupriya A Nagar also appeared on an India TV podcast to discuss the making of Hanuman Ansh and the inspiration behind the project.
With its nationwide theatrical release scheduled for 7 August, the film aims to bring the teachings of Sri Neem Karoli Baba to audiences across India.
