Pithampur is MP’s Industrial and employment capital, says Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivra Sinch Chauhan.

Bhopal : 4th November, 2022. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan says that Pithampur has become the industrial and employment generating capital of Madhya Pradesh. Large scale industries have been established here and the flow of investment for industries is also going on. A separate Women Entrepreneurs Park is being set up here for daughters.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the gathering on the Employment Day and “One District-One Product” program in Pithampur. He announced about the allocation of Rs.1371 crore development works and Rs.2577 crore for connecting 3 lakh 19 thousand youth with self-employment. Unveiling the statue of Maharana Pratap and Shivaji Maharaj, the CM also handed over land allotment letters to 21 women entrepreneurs after performing Bhoomi-Poojan of Women Entrepreneur Park.

During his address, Chief Minister Chouhan said that cultural revival work has started in Madhya Pradesh to establish cultural values. Efforts are being made also to bring the statue of Vagdevi, which is presently in England, again to Madhya Pradesh. The legal process is under way. Mahakal Lok has been built in Ujjain. The work of establishing the statue of Adi Shankaracharya is also going on in Omkareshwar.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh government is working day and night to provide employment and self-employment for the youth. One lakh vacant government posts will be recruited in the next one year. Advertisements will be issued for the recruitment of 40 thousand vacant posts in the month of November.

In Pithampur, 1100 MSME units have an investment of 12 thousand 777 crore rupees and 38 thousand 770 people have got employment, said the CM.  He added that 95 large industrial units are established here, in which 26,320 crore rupees are invested and around 53 thousand people have got employment. In this way a total of more than one lakh people have got employment. The pharma sector of Pithampur has done a wonderful job by delivering medicines in Covid to the world.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a new investment area would be set up in 12,500 hectares by taking land from farmer brothers, through which one lakh people would get employment. Pithampur is a wonderful industrial area. Industrial units are continuously investing here. The industrial products here worth Rs.11 thousand crores are exported to various countries.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Rs 15 crore would be given for the construction of roads in Pithampur. The SDM office will be established permanently by creating a revenue section here. Pithampur Hospital will be upgraded to Civil Hospital. The regional development demands made by the local people’s representatives, will also be fulfilled.

CM Shivraj also said that no poor family will remain without their abode  on the soil of Madhya Pradesh. All such families will be made the owners of land by giving them land under the Chief Minister’s Land Housing Scheme. Housing for all eligible people will also be made. In Dhar district alone, houses of one lakh poor have been built.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the previous government had stopped many of our welfare schemes like Sambal and Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana. We have started giving benefits to the public by restarting all such closed schemes. The Chief Minister said that the state government would pay the higher education fees of meritorious students of poor families. Along with studies, the government is also running a continuous campaign for the arrangement of employment.

The Chief Minister also distributed the benefits of various public welfare schemes of the government in the program. The Chief Minister unveiled the ‘logo’ of Bagh Print of Dhar district and distributed GI certificates to the artisans. The MoU was signed between MPIDC and FIEO in the presence of the Chief Minister. Chief Minister Shivra Singh Chouhan said that the turnover of self-help group women has reached 20 thousand crores. He says that his sisters should earn at least 10 thousand rupees per month.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the overall goal of the government is the happiness of the people. Various schemes are underway to encourage young entrepreneurs.

Loans ranging from one lakh to 50 lakh rupees are being given by the bank to the youth. The state government is giving the guarantee of loan refund. Chief Minister Chouhan took information about the Chief Minister’s public service campaign from the Collector. It was informed that so far 3.19 Lakh applications have been received in the district, out of which 2.9 Lakh thousand applications have also been approved. Chief Minister Chouhan told in detail about the schemes of Ayushman Yojana, Poor Housing Scheme, Land Housing Rights Scheme, Ration For The Poor.

Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises Minister Omprakash Sakhlecha said that today important steps are being taken to make Madhya Pradesh a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh with Antyodaya to give a new development direction to Madhya Pradesh. Our government will fulfill the dream of every child of the middle and deprived class. More than 2 thousand youth have started their start-ups in the state. Special efforts are also being made for furniture and toy clusters.

Industrial Investment & Investment Promotion Minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon said that being inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self-reliant India, many schemes are being run by Chief Minister Chouhan for self-reliant Madhya Pradesh, in which 38 products of 52 districts are being sold. It has been selected as “One District-One Product”. Online marketing sites like Amazon, Flipkart have been tied up for their marketing. The state government has given the needs of the poor and deprived sections of the people from their birth to whole life. Many schemes are being run for fulfillment. Many schemes are also being run for the employment and higher education of the youth, so that youth can fulfill their dreams and become cooperative in the development of the state and the country.

On reaching the venue, Chief Minister Chouhan was welcomed in a different way. The nephews and nieces who came here to meet him also reached, who currently are studying medical and engineering colleges and whose fees have been paid by the state government. The meritorious children who scored more than 75 percent marks on the stage and got laptops from the government also welcomed the Chief Minister. Tribal youth of Dhar district, who are playing at the national level with the cooperation of the state government, also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister Chouhan. He was also welcomed by the door-to-door food delivery drivers and the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana. Chief Minister Chouhan also visited the exhibition organized by different districts of Indore and Ujjain divisions under ‘One District One Product’.

Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary,  in-charge, Dhar district along with MP Mr. Chhatar Singh Durbar and various MLAs, Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Mr. Sanjay Shukla, Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Mr. P. Narhari and other public representatives attended the program. Members of youth and women’s groups were also present in large numbers.
