The diplomats visited the company’s projects in Khavda and Mundra, Gujarat, where they explored advancements in clean energy, infrastructure, and industrial development.
The delegation’s first stop was Khavda, located in Gujarat’s Kutch district, where Adani Green Energy is constructing the world’s largest clean energy plant.
Covering an area five times the size of Paris, the 30 GW solar and wind project aims to meet India’s growing energy demands with sustainable, cost-effective power.
The ambassadors were given an insight into the plant’s cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices, including a visit to the Energy Network Operations Centre (ENOC), managed by women engineers.
At Mundra Port, India’s largest commercial port, the delegation explored the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) within the Mundra Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
This hub is attracting global investments in advanced manufacturing.
The ambassadors also visited Adani’s solar manufacturing plant, a critical part of India’s efforts to achieve self-reliance in renewable energy.
