Hyundai Motor India Ltd. aims to introduce the newest entry-level SUV, the Exter, in the second half of 2023. The new model will complement the company’s current lineup of SUVs, which also includes the Venue, Venue N Line, Creta, Alcazar, Kona Electric, Tucson, and IONIQ 5, according to a statement from Hyundai Motor India Ltd.
The Venue, the company’s current entry-level SUV, will be placed above the Exter. The second half of the year will see its introduction.
Hyundai Exter is the eighth model in our lineup with an SUV body shape, and Hyundai Motor India Ltd COO Tarun Garg expressed confidence that this new addition to our family will further boost our growth in SUV sales.

The Hyundai Aura and the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios both share the same platform as this vehicle.
The model has the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine as the previous versions.
The engine produces 113.8 Nm of maximum torque and 83 PS of maximum power.
Both the 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT transmissions are available.
Already available is a bi-fuel (petrol and CNG) option for the 1.2-litre Kappa engine.
The Exter is anticipated to be packed with features that set the bar for its class, just like other Hyundai SUVs. It might be equipped with wireless charging, an electric sunroof, touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control, and LED headlights and taillights. Price estimates for the Hyundai Exter 2023 range from Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Priced between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom), the Tata Punch is its main challenger.
According to the corporation, this brand-new SUV will give users access to intelligent mobility experiences and is aimed at Gen Z customers.
