Housing Development Finance Corporation

 

The proposed amalgamation of HDFC and HDFC Bank is making progress as both organizations work to complete all formalities. The record date of July 13 and the effective merger date of July 1 are provisional and are subject to completion upon the satisfaction of certain formalities. Stock exchanges will be informed of the effective date of the scheme and the record date once those dates have been determined by the board members of HDFC and HDFC Bank.

Infosys

 

IT behemoth Infosys has joined forces with Skillsoft, a provider of transformative learning experiences, to reimagine education and learning for Indian students from class 6 to lifelong learners. Infosys Springboard, the second largest IT service in the country will give users free access to a vast library of Skillsoft learning materials created to develop technical, managerial, and behavioural skills.

State Bank of India

 

The Executive Committee of the Central Board has granted SBI its permission for acquiring the entire stake held by SBI Capital Markets in the SBI pension Fund, subject to receipt of regulatory approvals.

Gland Pharma

 

The US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) has issued Form 483 to the Pashamylaram facility of Gland Pharma in Hyderabad with one observation. The US FDA conducted pre-approval inspections (PAI) between 15 June and 27 June 2023, for the company’s seven products and good manufacturing practise (GMP) inspections.

HDFC Life Insurance Company

 

At an average price of Rs 667.1 per share, or Rs 992.64 crore, the promoter Housing Development Finance Corporation acquired 1.49 crore equity shares, or 0.69%, in the life insurance company through open market transactions.
