Stock Market Closed: The Indian market started weak amidst bad global signals. Nifty closed at 18,108 with a fall of 58 points. Nifty Bank today closed at 42,329 with a decline of 129 points. The Sensex closed at 60,858 with a fall of 187 points. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 34 closed in the red and 15 closed in the green. Out of 12 stocks of Nifty Bank, 8 closed in the red mark and 4 closed in the green mark. Buying was seen in 10 stocks of Sensex while selling was seen in 20. Moreover, selling was seen in Nifty Metal Index, Nifty Realty Index, and Nifty Auto Index. The Nifty IT index closed with slight gains today.
