Mukesh Ambani Hails PM Modi’s Leadership At PDEU Convocation; Praises His Relentless Pursuit Of Progress

At the 12th Convocation of Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) in Gandhinagar, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani delivered a powerful tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising his unwavering determination, which he described as “as hard as a diamond.” Ambani emphasized Modi’s ability to transform visionary ideas into actionable plans, noting that his initiatives, like “Mann ki Baat,” often evolve into “Mann ka Sankalp” a testament to Modi’s resolute commitment to success.

Ambani further noted that Modi’s resolve is reflected in what he called “Vajra Sankalp” (diamond resolve), highlighting the Prime Minister’s unwavering focus on achieving national goals.

Expanding on Modi’s leadership qualities, Ambani stated that the Prime Minister’s name signifies “Anant Shakti” (infinite energy), a reflection of his tireless work ethic. Addressing common questions about Modi’s ability to rest, Ambani quoted Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, saying, “Kaam mein Badlav hi Vishranti hai” — meaning that a change of work is, in itself, a form of rest.

“The question often arises about where Prime Minister Modi rests or if he ever rests at all. The answer lies in what Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ji said — that a change of work is rest. This motto is the guiding principle of our Prime Minister, and it should be our motto too,” Ambani said, encouraging attendees to adopt this mindset in their own lives.

A Call To Embrace Modi’s Work Ethic

Ambani’s words came as part of a broader discussion on Modi’s relentless pursuit of progress and his ability to tackle challenges that seem insurmountable. The industrialist urged the audience to follow Modi’s example and transform work into a source of rejuvenation, reinforcing the idea that strong leadership is essential for national development.

Mukesh Ambani’s admiration for Prime Minister Modi is not new. Earlier, in January 2024, Ambani had described Modi as India’s most successful Prime Minister and the greatest global leader of the current generation. Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Ambani praised Modi as a visionary who has made India’s progress globally recognized. He remarked, “When PM Modi speaks, the whole world not only listens but applauds.”

Ambani also shared a conversation with his international colleagues about the popular slogan “Modi hai to Mumkin Hai” (If Modi is there, anything is possible), explaining that it signifies Modi’s ability to turn the impossible into reality through his vision, determination, and execution. “They agree, and they also say: ‘Modi hai to mumkin hai!’” Ambani added, further emphasizing the global impact of the Prime Minister’s leadership.

Ambani’s remarks underscored the importance of visionary leadership in shaping a nation’s growth and development. As India continues its journey toward becoming a global powerhouse, the industrialist’s praise for PM Modi serves as a reminder of the transformative power of strong, unwavering leadership.
