BJP MLA from Sarojininagar, Lucknow, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, took to social media to announce a significant development regarding the settlement at Chande Baba Talab in Gadhi Chunauti. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has postponed its earlier order to vacate the settlement until February 25. This decision brought relief to hundreds of poor, backward, and Dalit families who had faced uncertainty about their future.

Singh, who appeared before the NGT as an advocate for the affected families, expressed his commitment to their cause. He stated, “The efforts to provide justice to the thousands of people living in this settlement for decades have gained initial success.”
On September 11, Singh visited the settlement, listened to the concerns of the residents, and assured them of his full support. Speaking about his role in the NGT proceedings, Singh described it as both a legal duty and an emotional commitment. He concluded by reaffirming his unwavering support for the people of Sarojini Nagar.
