Gautam Adani, Family Participate In Puri Rath Yatra; Launch Massive ‘Prasad Seva’ Initiative

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, along with his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, joined thousands of devotees at the annual Rath Yatra in Puri, Odisha, on Saturday.

The family participated in the grand procession of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra, offering prayers and performing the ‘Rath Poojan’ ritual.

Adani Group launches ‘Prasad Seva’ for devotees

The Adani Group launched its large-scale ‘Prasad Seva’ initiative in Puri Dham, aimed at providing clean and nutritious meals to pilgrims visiting the temple town during the chariot festival. The initiative seeks to enhance the spiritual experience for lakhs of devotees attending the yatra.

The group has committed to distributing around four million meals and beverages between June 26 and July 8.

Organisers have set up distribution counters across Puri to ensure smooth delivery.

The initiative also includes special arrangements for frontline workers and officials managing the festival.

Gautam Adani shares a devotional message

On Friday, Gautam Adani posted on X, “By the infinite grace of Lord Shri Jagannath Ji, we have been blessed with the opportunity to serve in the sacred Rath Yatra of Puri Dham. With the resolve that every devotee receives clean, nutritious, and lovingly served food, we have initiated the ‘Prasad Seva’ in Puri Dham.”

To provide relief from the intense summer temperatures, the Adani Group also installed cool beverage stalls at various points in the city to help pilgrims during their spiritual journey.

The initiative mirrors the group’s earlier efforts during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, where it supported mass food distribution in collaboration with religious and civic bodies.

Speaking about the experience, Gautam Adani said, “It is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction for me and the entire Adani family. I pray that the grace of Lord Shri Jagannath Ji remains upon us all forever. Serving humanity is serving the Divine, and service itself is spiritual practice.”

Through this extensive outreach, the Adani Group aims not only to meet the physical needs of devotees but also to promote a deeper sense of community, devotion, and spiritual connection during the iconic Rath Yatra.
