Indian carriers have sustained restricted yet steady flight services on March 22, responding to the fluid security landscape across the Middle East. Airlines have simultaneously urged passengers to remain vigilant and verify flight updates before proceeding to airports.
Low-cost airline IndiGo confirmed the operation of select services on Sunday. The carrier advised travellers to track real-time flight status, citing possible last-minute alterations.
Through a statement on X, IndiGo affirmed that its teams are working tirelessly to assist passengers and facilitate their journeys during the uncertain situation.

The airline emphasised that all operational decisions prioritise passenger and crew safety.
IndiGo reiterated its commitment to delivering a secure and efficient travel experience.
It noted that flights are being conducted in accordance with prevailing safety assessments and necessary regulatory clearances.
Meanwhile, Air India and Air India Express announced a combined operation of nearly 50 flights, including scheduled and special services, connecting India with West Asia.
Air India and Air India Express will operate a combined total of 50 scheduled and non-scheduled flights, to and from the West Asia region on 22 March 2026.

The airlines confirmed continued services to key destinations such as Jeddah and Muscat.
A total of 20 flights will operate between India and Jeddah. Air India will manage return routes from Delhi and Mumbai, while Air India Express will connect Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and Kozhikode.
Additionally, Air India Express will conduct eight scheduled services linking cities such as Delhi, Kochi, Mumbai, and Kannur with Muscat.
The carriers will also arrange around 30 additional non-scheduled flights to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, subject to slot availability and regulatory approvals.
