On the opening day of the WEF Annual Meeting 2025, the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) India launched its six-year impact journey report, marking a significant milestone in the country’s tech-driven development.

The WEF’s partnership with India dates back more than four decades, evolving into a robust and multi-dimensional collaboration. S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), highlighted the importance of the partnership between India and C4IR India in leveraging technologies for critical sectors like health, education, smart cities, and agriculture.
Krishnan emphasized the importance of the AI for India 2030 initiative, a key partnership with MeitY that brings together industry, startups, and government to harness AI for societal benefit.
