Hyundai Motor India has completed 25 years of vehicle exports, having begun its overseas shipments in 1999. Over the years, the company has exported more than 3.7 million cars to over 60 countries.
In 2024, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Chile, and Peru emerged as Hyundai’s top export markets. The company exported a total of 1,58,686 cars during the year.
Among Hyundai’s export models, the i10 family-which includes the i10, Grand i10, and Grand i10 Nios-has seen over 1.5 million units shipped since production began in 2007.
The Verna family, including the Verna, Verna Transform, and Fluidic Verna, has exceeded 5,00,000 units in exports.
South Africa remains a key market, with Hyundai surpassing 1 million units in exports to the country.
In 2024, the company also introduced the Exter micro SUV to its South African lineup, making it the eighth made-in-India Hyundai model sold there.
Hyundai India’s export portfolio includes popular models such as the Creta, Alcazar, Verna, Exter, and i10.
