Gautam Adani, Founder and Chairman of the Adani Group, said that India’s future growth would depend on strong ecosystems that connect innovation, infrastructure and talent.
After meeting 17 promising Indian startup founders, many of whom are working in deep technology sectors, Gautam Adani said the interaction reinforced the importance of collaboration in nation-building.
“It was inspiring, but more than that, it was a reminder. The next India will not be built in silos. It will be built at the intersection of founders, infrastructure, capital, energy, logistics, AI, space and talent,” he said.
The billionaire industrialist emphasised that entrepreneurs create companies, but broader ecosystems drive national progress.
“Founders build companies. Ecosystems build nations,” Gautam Adani added.
The remarks come as the Adani Group accelerates investments across key sectors, including energy, transport, logistics and digital infrastructure, to support its next stage of expansion.
Gautam Adani also described the Rs 24,930 crore rights issue of flagship company Adani Enterprises as a strong expression of investor confidence. He observed continued scrutiny over governance and regulatory matters involving the conglomerate.
Reflecting on the global environment, Gautam Adani said the world had become increasingly fragmented. He added that energy security and technological capabilities had emerged as critical strategic priorities for nations.
“Even though it was a year in which the world grew more fractured, complex energy security models returned to the centre of national strategy and technology became inseparable from sovereignty, Adani Group remained anchored to an unwavering belief – India’s future cannot wait,” he said.
The Adani Group Chairman noted that the Group continued to expand its integrated infrastructure platform. The expansion covered energy, transport, logistics, utilities and industrial manufacturing.
Gautam Adani acknowledged that the company achieved this progress during a period of intense public and regulatory scrutiny.
“It came in the middle of extraordinary scrutiny. We, however, did not bend. We did not pause,” he remarked.
Gautam Adani added that the Group remained focused on its purpose and long-term commitment to nation-building despite challenges and criticism.
