Apple has announced the opening of two new official retail outlets in India, marking another step in the company’s aggressive expansion in the country.

Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook confirmed that Apple will open stores at Bengaluru’s Hebbal and Pune’s Koregaon Park, bringing the brand’s signature retail experience to more Indian customers.

Taking to his official X account on Thursday, Cook wrote, “Say hello to Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune! We are thrilled to continue to bring the best of Apple to customers across India at these two new stores.”

Apple will open Apple Hebbal at the Phoenix Mall of Asia on September 2, 2025. It will be the company’s third official Apple Store in the country, following the launches of Apple BKC in Mumbai and Apple Saket in Delhi.

Apple has teased the opening with a vibrant barricade featuring peacock feathers, paying tribute to India’s national bird.

Pune Store to Follow Bengaluru Launch

After the Bengaluru debut, Apple will open its first store in Maharashtra outside Mumbai at Koregaon Park’s KOPA Mall in Pune.

Spanning 10,000 sq ft, the flagship outlet will showcase the full range of Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, Macs and accessories, alongside expert support and ‘Today at Apple’ sessions.

These openings come as Apple ramps up recruitment for a range of in-store roles, from customer support to leadership positions, ensuring tailored experiences for its growing Indian customer base.

Apple is expanding its retail network as it launches the iPhone 17 series, which it is manufacturing in India. The company expects record demand for the new models as local production and wider retail availability make the devices more accessible.

Since opening its online store in 2020 and flagship outlets in 2023, Apple has steadily increased its presence in India while boosting domestic manufacturing under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

With Foxconn and Tata Group-backed facilities producing the iPhone 17 line-up, Apple is positioning India as a key hub for both production and retail.
