Adani Skills & Education Partners Gujarat To Transform 11 ITIs In Kutch

Adani Skills & Education (ASE), the Adani Group’s capability-building platform, signed two MoUs with the Gujarat government.

The partnership will transform 11 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Kutch through industry-linked skilling and employment-focused training programmes.

ASE exchanged the MoUs at the GAIMS Auditorium in Bhuj during its ‘Karma Utsav’ event, promoting skilled work and nation-building careers.

More than 650 students, educators, policymakers, industry representatives, and officials attended the programme, highlighting the importance of workforce development.

Kutch is rapidly emerging as a major hub for renewable energy, logistics, and industrial infrastructure.

The initiative aims to equip local youth with industry-relevant skills and practical experience to support the region’s next phase of growth.

The collaboration will focus on curriculum enhancement, infrastructure modernisation, faculty training, practical learning opportunities, on-the-job exposure, and placement assistance.

The objective is to align technical education more closely with industry requirements and emerging employment opportunities.

The programme brought together Minister Kunwarjibhai Bavaliya, MoS Kantilal Amrutiya, senior officials, Adani leaders, faculty members, and students from 11 Kutch ITIs.

As part of the programme, ASE distributed Skill2Employ Letters of Invitation to students.

ASE honoured 22 students with Certificates of Excellence and awarded 30 instructors under its Train-the-Trainer programme.

ITI graduates currently working within the Adani ecosystem also shared their professional journeys.

Addressing the gathering, Bavaliya emphasised that industry-aligned technical education remains essential for building a self-reliant workforce under the Skill India mission.

Amrutiya stated that skilled youth represent a vital pillar of India’s economic advancement and national development.

ASE Chief Executive Officer Robin Bhowmik reaffirmed the organisation’s long-term commitment to Kutch. He further said Kutch remains central to ASE’s skilling vision and that the partnership will build an industry-ready workforce for long-term regional growth.

Through its Skill2Employ model, ASE integrates classroom education with real-world industrial exposure.

The organisation uses simulations, Centres of Excellence, globally benchmarked curricula, and trainer development initiatives. Through these efforts, it seeks to create a workforce that is productive from day one.

The initiative, however, aims to reduce talent migration and create more local employment opportunities. It also seeks to drive Kutch’s growth through homegrown talent.

ASE’s 10-point ITI transformation framework is now emerging as a ‘Gujarat Model’ for other states.
