The company also posted its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 3,178 crore, up 58 per cent from the year-ago period.
Total income rose 40 per cent year-on-year to Rs 9,852 crore, while operational revenue increased 54 per cent to Rs 7,117 crore, supported by recently commissioned transmission projects, smart meter rollout and contributions from the energy solutions platform.
AESL said the transmission business maintained an average system availability of 99.6 per cent, with its network expanding to 27,949 circuit kilometres.
The company also reported robust growth in smart metering, with cumulative installations reaching 13.44 million.
The energy solutions platform also recorded a strong start, driven by higher electricity demand during an extended summer and increasing renewable energy tie-ups.
During the quarter, AESL announced the proposed acquisition of IntelliSmart, a move that is expected to position it as India’s largest smart metering platform with a portfolio of more than 47 million meters.
The company said its transmission pipeline currently stands at Rs 71,779 crore, while the smart meter order book has a revenue potential of Rs 29,519 crore.
AESL said it remains focused on sustainable growth through disciplined execution, supported by a strong project pipeline and continued expansion across its core businesses.
