Adani Electricity announced its strong performance at the 12th National Conclave on 5S, organised by the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) and hosted by the QCFI Varanasi Chapter in association with the School of Management Sciences (SMS), Varanasi.
Our teams received top recognition across multiple categories, showing innovation, discipline, and sustainable workplace management.
Participants were, however, evaluated on objectivity, implementation methodology, standardisation, presentation skills, time management, creativity, benefits and problem-solving capabilities.

The two-day conclave, themed ‘5S Beyond Housekeeping: Cultivating a Culture of Discipline for Sustainable Growth and World-Class Practices’, brought together 53 organisations, 105 teams and 329 members, underscoring the growing adoption of 5S practices to enhance workplace excellence.
The programme featured team presentations, expert sessions and recognition of outstanding initiatives, reinforcing the role of 5S in improving productivity, sustainability and Total Quality Management.
Professor Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University, attended the award ceremony as the Chief Guest, while Professor PN Jha, Director of SMS Varanasi, attended as the Guest of Honour.
Among Adani Electricity’s award-winning teams were Malad Division’s Team Sustaino, Andheri Division’s Team Utkarsha and Transmission EHV Substations’ Team Innovative, all receiving Par Excellence honours in their respective 5S presentation and technical paper categories.
The company, however, said the competition reflected the exceptional talent and commitment of its workforce.
