Adani Electricity emerged as a standout performer at the 39th National Convention on Quality Concepts (NCQC-2025), held recently in Greater Noida, by securing top honours at India’s largest quality-focused convention.
Competing at the national level, all nine teams fielded by the company from its transmission and distribution businesses earned awards, underscoring its strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Of the nine teams, five secured the highest ‘par excellence’ award, while the remaining four received the ‘excellent’ award, marking a clean sweep for Adani Electricity at the convention.
A spokesperson from Adani Electricity said the achievement reflects the organisation’s deep-rooted commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
The spokesperson noted that aligning with the vision of an ‘Atma-Nirbhar Viksit Bharat’ has enabled the company to implement world-class quality standards that enhance efficiency while delivering greater value to consumers and stakeholders.
The recognition, the spokesperson added, further strengthens the company’s journey towards global benchmarking and business excellence.
The convention, themed ‘Quality Concepts for Atma-Nirbhar Viksit Bharat’, witnessed participation from over 12,120 delegates and 2,388 teams representing 601 leading organisations, including the Indian Navy, Tata Steel, NTPC and JSW.
The scale of participation underlined the event’s national significance.
Adani Electricity fielded three transmission teams and six distribution teams, with all securing awards across categories such as Six Sigma, Quality Circle and Lean Quality Circle.
Projects underwent a rigorous three-tier evaluation, including case study reviews, technical tests and live presentations, judged by experts from the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI).
The achievement positions Adani Electricity at the forefront of business excellence in the power sector, reflecting its focus on advanced quality practices, improved power reliability, employee-led problem-solving and sustainable growth.
