Adani Electricity observed National Electrical Safety Week 2026 across its offices and supply areas from June 26 to July 2, organising a series of educational workshops and awareness programmes for employees and customers.
The 2026 theme was ‘Competency, Compliance, and Caution – Ensuring Electrical Safety’.
“At Adani Electricity, we powered lives responsibly and reaffirmed our commitment to safe practices, a skilled workforce, and vigilant compliance to protect every home and workplace,” according to a company spokesperson.
Alongside the safety campaign, Adani Electricity highlighted its enhanced disaster management measures for the monsoon season to safeguard its 3.15 million customers from potential power disruptions.
The company has activated its Central Disaster Control Centre (CDCC), which will function round-the-clock to coordinate emergency response efforts and ensure swift communication during the monsoon.
An Adani Electricity spokesperson said the team stands ready to address monsoon-related challenges.
“With the support of our Quick Response Teams and the Central Disaster Management team, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our consumers and maintaining a reliable power supply,” the spokesperson added.
Seven Quick Response Teams (QRTs) now operate across the distribution network with response, recovery, and restoration plans tailored to address monsoon-related challenges.
To improve flood preparedness, 98 advanced water level sensors now support the Advanced Distribution Management System at critical locations, enabling faster detection of and response to rising water levels.
The CDCC will also use satellite and wireless communication technologies, including walkie-talkies and remote devices, to maintain uninterrupted coordination across departments and with external authorities, ensuring efficient incident management and minimal service disruptions.
