On Tuesday, due to dense fog, 5 flights were diverted and almost 30 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport.
According to an official, the flights were redirected to Jaipur between 0830 to 1000 hours. Prior, one IndiGo and SpiceJet flight was diverted to Jaipur.
As per information accessible on the Delhi airport website, approximately 30 flights were delayed this morning.
Delhi Airport tweeted, “Kind attention to all flyers! While landing and takeoffs continue at the Delhi airport, flights that are not CAT III compliant may get affected. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted”, through its official ‘X’ handle.

CAT III refers to flying operations when the visibility is extremely low.
