The first news is that the Election Commission of India has made such a machine through which people can cast their votes no matter where they are.
At present, according to the voting system in India, people can go and vote only where they live. But in fact around thirty Cr people are deprived of voting due to this reason. Indian people move freely from Kerala to Kashmir and also live in each other’s province. Just think why a Malayali man would go from Kashmir to Kerala just to cast his vote?
Whether someone wins or loses, why would a person spend thousands of rupees and also many days for this particular objective? If this new facility is finally established in India, then the total number of voters will certainly exceed 100 crores. This will be considered a great achievement of Indian democracy. In many countries, now such a system has also come into existence that you do not even need to go to your own polling station, you can cast your vote from sitting at home.
Hopefully, it will not take long to start such a system in India as well. Before implementing this new voting facility, the Election Commission will have to gather all-party consent and public support as well. Certainly, no party would oppose this idea.
Free private hospital treatment for the poor

This is the announcement of the Manoharlal Khattar government of Haryana that families whose income is less than Rs.15,000 per month, they will be able to receive free treatment in private hospitals. Now there is no check on the looting of the the private hospitals in the country which is beyond approach of a common Indian citizen.
Private Hospitals rip patients off
In private hospitals, the looting is so heavy that along with the patient, his family members also become sick. According to the latest order of the Haryana government, now these private hospitals will have to provide treatment worth Rs. five lakh to the poor absolutely free of cost and if the expenditure is Rs.10 lakh, they will be allowd to charge only 10 percent of it from the patient.
20 percent beds will be available
For such patients, they will have to reserve 20 percent beds of the hospitals. Every poor patient will have to be admitted to these hospitals. They cannot refuse his treatment. If they refuse, the land given free of cost to those hospitals will be taken back.

This rule is truly commendable, but it remains to be seen how far it is implemented. This initiative of the Haryana government is exemplary for all the regional governments of the country. Although the central government has also taken some good initiatives in this regard, but for education and medicine to be universally accessible in the country, it is necessary that both of the treatments should be almost free.
