Surprisingly, these companies are not able to save all the information through which you share your mobile, email, Aadhaar details, PAN card, and other sensitive information. Due to the low-level legal provisions of the country, your data easily reach cyber thugs. This information of yours is being sold in the open market, putting your privacy at risk. This has been revealed after the interrogation of the gang of cyber thieves caught by the Telangana Police.

Telangana police caught the gang
Telangana Police arrested the accused named Vinay Bhardwaj on Saturday. It is alleged that it has stolen the data of about 67 crore citizens living in 24 states of the country. In which not only information from their bank accounts to their Aadhaar, PAN card, email, and mobile number but also credit and debit cards are included. Surprisingly, the data shared in GST, Army, Bank, and E-commerce companies have also been recovered from the accused.
Intrusion in sensitive institutions
After the arrest, it has also been revealed that data related to Army, doctors, engineers, and real estate has also been recovered from the cyber gang. The members of this gang used to collect data from various banks and e-commerce companies. This whole business was being run from the website of Faridabad’s company named “Inspire Webs”. In this case, three banks, an internet media company, and an information technology company have been sent notices and asked to appear for questioning.
Data stealing
Among the states whose data has been stolen, more than 21 crore people are residents of Uttar Pradesh. After this, on the second number, about three crore people are residents of the capital Delhi. After this, there are 2.1 crore citizens of Andhra Pradesh, 2 crores of Rajasthan, 1.5 crores of Punjab, 1.1 crore of Madhya Pradesh, and about one crore citizens of Haryana.
