Radhika Gupta, the CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, has joined Shark Tank India as the fourth new judge for the show’s forthcoming third season. She joins the “sharks” from the past two seasons.

Gupta took to X, the former Twitter platform, to describe her joy at being able to “learn, share, and be part of the magic of new India.” She made it clear that her involvement with the show will be personal in a different post.

“started a business. constructing a second one. and making several additional investments that are constructing the India of the future. Admire every aspect of entrepreneurship and wish to support people who are constructing this nation to the fullest,” she posted on the microblogging site.

The third season, now in production, will also mark the Shark Tank India debuts of Azhar Iqubal (co-founder and CEO of Inshorts), Deepinder Goyal (founder and CEO of Zomato), and Ritesh Agarwal (founder and group CEO of Oyo Rooms).

Peyush Bansal (co-founder and CEO of Lenskart), Vineeta Singh (co-founder and CEO of Sugar Cosmetics), Anupam Mittal (founder of People Group), Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO of boAt), Namita Thapar (executive director, Emcure Pharmaceuticals), and Amit Jain (co-founder and CEO of CarDekho) will be returning to the panel for a third season in a row.

Five things regarding Radhika Gupta

(1) She is not just the CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, but also a Managing Director.

(2) She was one of the youngest CEOs in the nation at the age of 33 when she was appointed CEO of Edelweiss.

3.) She states on LinkedIn that she is a “writer, storyteller, Josh Talks and TEDx speaker, finding magic in words.”

4.) Gupta’s dad was a diplomat for a while. She thus claimed to be traveling “every three years” and to have resided in Pakistan, Nigeria, and New York.

(5.) She thought about killing herself after receiving seven job rejections, but a friend stopped her from acting rashly. She went to an interview with McKinsey and Company that same day and was hired.
