On Tuesday, a 45-year-old Tunisian suspected of killing two Swedish football fans in Brussels was shot by police in a cafe.
According to the report, the man was shot in the chest and died in hospital from his injuries. There was no formal confirmation of his death right away.

The shooting occurred during a period of increased security worries in numerous European countries due to the Israel-Hamas conflict, though a Belgian federal prosecutor claimed there was no proof that the attacker had any connection to the recently restarted conflict between Israel and Palestinian terrorists.
