Authorities said late on Friday that a plane crashed in a rural part of Australia’s New South Wales state on Friday, killing the male pilot and three children on board.
The Cirrus SR22 took off from Canberra and crashed in Queanbeyan, around 290 kilometres (180 miles) from Sydney, at approximately 3 p.m. local time (0400 GMT).
Firefighters extinguished the blaze after responding to reports that a plane had crashed and caught fire, but there were no survivors, according to police.
