Mumbai air Hostess Rupal Ogrey
In a somber turn of events, Rupal Ogrey, a 25-year-old trainee air hostess from Chhattisgarh, was found lifeless in her Andheri flat within a Mumbai suburb. The chilling incident unfolded last evening, leaving the community in shock.
Rupal had embarked on her journey to fulfill her dreams, having moved to Mumbai in April this year after securing a position with Air India. She resided in a luxurious housing society in Andheri, sharing her flat with her sister and boyfriend, who had left for their hometown just days prior.
The local authorities swiftly apprehended a 40-year-old man employed as a sweeper within the society, Vikram Atwal, in connection with the tragic murder of Ms. Ogrey. Atwal is presently undergoing intensive interrogation as investigators search for crucial evidence.
“The primary suspect, Vikram Atwal, has been taken into custody, and security camera footage from the housing society is under scrutiny for potential leads,” stated the police.
In their determined pursuit of justice, approximately 12 specialized teams have been assembled to track down the accused, underscoring the seriousness of this case.
Additionally, investigators are currently questioning Vikram Atwal’s wife, who also works as a housekeeper within the same society, as part of their ongoing inquiries.
The heartbreaking sequence of events unfolded when Rupal’s concerned family members inquired with her friends in Mumbai after their calls went unanswered. Upon their arrival at her residence, they were met with a locked door.
Alarmed by the situation, Rupal’s friends promptly contacted the police, leading to a forced entry into her flat. Tragically, Ms. Ogrey was discovered lying in a pool of blood. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals, to their utmost regret, pronounced her deceased upon arrival.”
