Most of us rely on our jobs to give us the money we need to support our needs and pay our bills. Occasionally, tedious chores cause people to lose interest in their jobs. However, when there is strong motivation present, the same labour becomes a mission and makes individuals happy at work. When people are happier at work, they work better together, solve problems, and take care of those around them.
A recent Twitter article about an elderly man’s work ethic will definitely motivate many people who are beginning to lose interest in their typical employment.
An old samosa vendor was selling hot samosas in the market when torrential rains forced the majority of people inside their homes. Aaraynsh, a Twitter user, tweeted snatches from his interaction with the vendor.
It was raining heavily when I parked my car beside a traffic signal near court circle udaipur, where I saw an old uncle selling hot samosa and poha. I placed an order and curiously asked him why he didn’t take a rest today, considering his age. He told me something that… pic.twitter.com/CCIutZv23Z

“I observed an old uncle selling hot samosas and poha as I parked my car next to a traffic light at the court circle in Udaipur during a downpour. I gave him an order and enquired as to why, given his age, he hadn’t taken a break today. He said something to me that drastically altered the way I view my job,” tweeted Aaryansh.
He continued by recounting what the samosa vendor had said.
“Beta, main ab is umra mein paise ke liye kaam nahi karta. Main apne dil ko khush rakhne ke liye kaam karta hun. Ghar par akela baithne se yahan baithna behtar hai. Jab main chaar logon ke khush chehre dekhta hun, jo mere khane ka swaad lete hain, to mera dil khushi se bhar jata hai”. (Son, I don’t work at this age solely for financial gain. I work because it brings joy to my heart. It’s much better to be here than alone at home. My heart is filled with joy when I watch others smiling because of how excellent my food tastes.)
While everyone complains about their jobs, Aryansh writes in his post’s conclusion, “some people are writing stories of their retirement.”
It has received over 1 million views on Twitter because many social media users found the chat to be quick but fantastic.
