The tech hub of India, Bangalore, was shaken by a homicide on Tuesday. The managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of a company fell prey to a ruthless act committed by a former employee. In a recent development on the case, the Amruthali police have successfully apprehended all three individuals involved, marking a significant breakthrough in the investigation. The accused have been identified as Shabarish, Vinay Reddy and Santosh.
Phanindra Subramanya and Vinu Kumar who were serving as MD and CEO of the private organization were assaulted by three people, in addition to the main accused, who was a former employee at the firm. They assailed the victims with multiple weapons like small knives, swords and machetes.
As per the officials, the accused entered the premises of the office by force and committed a brutal act. The initial findings reveal that on July 11, the accused broke into the office at North Bengaluru’s Amruthahalli along with Phanindra around 4 pm. At the time, there were only 10 people on the premises.
Phanindra and the three accused were sitting in his room when they attacked him. When Vinu tried to intervene, he got wrapped up in the situation and fell prey to their assault. After the attack, Shabarish, Vinay Reddy and Santosh flew using the backdoor. The employees then took Phanindra and Vinu to the hospital but could not save them from succumbing to their injuries.
Further investigation to get to the bottom of the drastic incident is underway.
