MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan Apologizes To Sidhi Urination Case Victim, Washes Feet As ‘Respect Gesture’

CM Shivraj Chouhan took cognizance of viral video and took stern measures, accused was booked under National Security Act (NSA).

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, met the victim of the Sidhi urination incident on Thursday at the CM house in Bhopal. Chouhan greeted the victim, Dashmat Rawat, and showed respect by washing his feet.

He also expressed regret to the victim for the act and said that watching the video had caused him much distress and pain.

“My heart is filled with pain; Dashmat ji this is an attempt to share your pain. Also, I apologize to you. For me, only people are god,” CM Chouhan wrote after meeting the victim.

Notably, the accused Pravesh Shukla (30) was seen peeing on Rawat in a video which in no time went viral on social media, after which CM Shivraj Chouhan took cognizance of the situation and took stern measures, accused was charged under National Security Act (NSA).

Shukla, the accused, was arrested and sent to Central Jail Rewa on Wednesday. The local government also destroyed his illegal construction the same day. On Wednesday, a different video that surfaced on social media showed the accused, Pravesh Shukla, being taken for medical examination by police.
