Former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal Passes Away at 95

Parkash Singh Badal, the former chief minister of Punjab, passed away Tuesday evening at a private hospital in Mohali. He was 95.

A few days ago, the five-time chief minister complained of difficulty breathing, and he was taken to the hospital.

Badal is made due by the child and miserable boss Sukhbir Singh Badal and girl Parneet Kaur, who is hitched to previous bureau chief Adeish Partap Singh Kairon.
The oldest candidate for the Punjab assembly elections in 2022 was the patriarch of the SAD. However, he lost to AAP’s newbie, Gurmeet Singh Khudian.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said: “Prakash Singh Badal ji was a political stalwart who played a significant role in Punjab politics for many decades. In his long political and administrative career, he made several noteworthy contributions towards the welfare of farmers and other weaker sections of our society.”

Badal’s 75-year political journey

When Badal was elected as the youngest sarpanch in 1952. In 1970, he became the youngest Punjab Chief Minister, and in 2012, he became the oldest. He likewise held the record of turning into the CM multiple times: 1970–71, 1977–80, 1997–2002, 2007–12, and 2012–17.
