Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Blamed Akhilesh, Said “Co-Operative Banks Became Den Of Loot During SP Regime”

Deputy Chief Minister, Brajesh Pathak reached the 43rd annual general body meeting of UP Sahakari Gram Vikas Bank and advised the cooperative bank to reach every village.

“Co-operative banks have become a den of loot under the rule of the SP government. Moreover, The coffers of the bank were being used for personal interests. As a result, the bank is on the verge of collapsing. The situation had become such that nine banks were closed, only five are operating. The Yogi government is moving forward with transparency that’s why cooperative banks are recovering gradually.” said Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak.

He was addressing the 43rd annual general body meeting of Uttar Pradesh Sahakari Gram Vikas Bank Limited at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomtinagar on Tuesday. Deputy CM said that the Yogi government is working honestly. All departments are moving forward on the path of progress. Sahakari Gram Vikas Bank has also caught pace. Sinking banks are recovering again. This is the result of the hard work of the officers and employees.

Big steps are being taken to strengthen the farmers

The Deputy Chief Minister said that “Continuous steps are being taken to strengthen the farmers. Loans are being provided to them according to their needs. Farmers are also motivated to pay the installments on time so that the banks do not suffer any losses. He has asked to speed up loan recovery. He said that banks should give loans freely, but also inspire people to deposit them back. At present, 60 lakh farmer families have been linked to the banks.

Cooperative movements being run says Brajesh Pathak

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that “Cooperative banks have reached every village. This is possible only with everyone’s participation. There is a need to run a cooperative movement to strengthen the farmers. In the program, UP’s Cooperative Minister JPS Rathore said that work is being done on a special strategy to strengthen the banks. Banks are reaching more and more farmers and other needy people. NABARD’s SK Arora, Vijay Shankar Rai, Manoj Dwivedi, Ram Sharan, Jamuna Prasad Dwivedi, Sandeep Bhadoria, etc were present in the program.
