What Did the NCB Seize?
According to the NCB, officers raided two rented properties in Jahanabad Kadalpur village in Gautam Buddha Nagar district on Friday following specific intelligence inputs.
The premises had allegedly been adapted for the manufacture and processing of synthetic drugs.
The agency seized 379.740 kg of amphetamine-containing material, which officials estimate could yield around 56 kg of crystalline amphetamine. Its indicative illicit market value was estimated at approximately Rs 45 crore.
The seized material included 4.260 kg of crystalline, 157.700 kg of semi-crystalline and 217.780 kg of liquid amphetamine-containing substances.
Officers recovered 10 kg of pseudoephedrine, along with chemicals such as hydrochloric acid, acetone, toluene, sulphuric acid and potassium permanganate.
The arrested suspects were identified as Destiny Abraham Dumbiri, who claimed Nigerian nationality, and Lallawmzuali, also known as Olivia Lalchawimawii, from Mizoram.
The NCB said immigration records showed that Dumbiri entered India in January 2020. He travelled under the name Francis Kalokoh, claiming Sierra Leonean nationality. He held a tourist visa valid until December 2020.
Olivia was previously arrested in a Directorate of Revenue Intelligence investigation. Officials recovered 313 grams of heroin-containing powder from her checked-in baggage at Dabolim Airport in Goa in March 2026. She is currently out on bail.
The operation uncovered laboratory equipment, including heating mantles, glass reaction vessels, chemical storage drums, filtration systems, weighing scales and respirators.
