India included seam-bowling all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy and fast bowler Prince Yadav in their playing XI for the third T20I against the West Indies in Indore on Sunday.
West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and elected to field first.
The five-match series stands at 1-1 after the visitors produced a record-breaking run chase in the second match in Ranchi.
Victory in Indore would give either side a 2-1 advantage in the series.
The Holkar Stadium pitch, known for its flat surface and short boundaries, is expected to favour batters and could produce another high-scoring contest.
India captain Shreyas Iyer confirmed that Reddy and Prince had replaced Shivam Dube and Kuldeep Yadav.
Iyer acknowledged that dew had significantly influenced the previous match but said the team needed to move forward and adapt quickly to the conditions. He stressed the importance of assessing the pitch early and posting a competitive total, adding that the team wanted a bowler capable of executing yorkers effectively.
Hope said the visitors had rested Romario Shepherd because of a minor niggle, bringing Quentin Sampson and Keemo Paul into the side instead.
The West Indies captain said adapting quickly remained important while playing across all three formats. He further highlighted the importance of holding catches, noting their potential to influence match results.
