Home Minister Amit Shah met the cast and makers of Hanuman Ansh in New Delhi on Monday and congratulated them on the film’s success.
The delegation included director Vishal Chaturvedi and lead actor Shobhinav Satyaa. Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Nabin met the team as well.
Nabin shared glimpses from the meeting at his New Delhi residence on social media. He wrote, “Today, a meeting took place at the residence in New Delhi with the team of the film ‘Hanuman Ans’.
Heartfelt best wishes to the entire team for this endeavour connected to Indian culture and spiritual tradition, and auspicious wishes for a bright future (sic).”
Based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, Hanuman Ansh has earned critical and commercial success since its release.
On Saturday, the team met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official residence, Varsha.
The team sought Ganpati Bappa’s blessings there. Fadnavis congratulated Chaturvedi and the team for their work and wished them greater success.
Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the film for presenting faith, devotion and India’s spiritual traditions. He said the drama offers insight into traditions associated with Neem Karoli Baba.
Yadav described the film as a medium to understand faith, spiritual traditions and devotion to Lord Hanuman. He said it portrays worship, service and devotion’s power to encourage social reform.
The Chief Minister praised Shobhinav Satya for portraying Neem Karoli Baba with conviction. He said such films can connect younger generations with India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
