Actor Vikrant Massey has completed dubbing for his upcoming film White, with producer Mahaveer Jain praising the actor’s performance and expressing confidence that audiences will connect with the film.
On the occasion of Guru Purnima, Mahaveer Jain shared an update on the project and said Vikrant has delivered a remarkable portrayal of global spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He described White as a timely film that highlights peace, hope and harmony during a period of global conflict.
“Vikrant has outdone himself in the film. I am sure that his powerful portrayal of global spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, coupled with the film’s profound impact, will mesmerise audiences worldwide,” the producer said.
Mahaveer Jain added that the film showcases India’s spiritual wisdom on a global stage while exploring the values of reconciliation and coexistence.
Directed by Montoo Bassi, White is a political thriller with human drama at its core.
Inspired by Colombia’s decades-long internal conflict, the film explores how ancient Indian philosophy contributed to efforts towards peace and reconciliation.
The film also stars Mexican actor Dario Yazbek Bernal and Panamanian actor Jaime Newball.
Narcos cinematographer Juan Carlos Gil has handled the visuals, while Siddharth Anand, PeaceCraft Pictures and Mahaveer Jain have backed the project.
Vikrant Massey was last seen in the Netflix series Musafir Cafe, alongside Vedika Pinto, Mahima Makwana and Adil Hussain. He has previously earned acclaim for performances in 12th Fail, A Death in the Gunj, Mirzapur and Criminal Justice.
