Motorola on Friday expanded its Edge 70 series in India with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, a new mid-range smartphone that combines powerful hardware, AI-driven features, and improved durability.
The device carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and meets the MIL-STD-810H durability standard for added protection.
It features a 6.78-inch Super HD+ (1.5K) AMOLED display with HDR10+, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit colour depth.
The screen offers up to 5,200 nits peak brightness and supports a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut for vibrant and accurate visuals.
Motorola protects the display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for improved durability and scratch resistance.
The smartphone, moreover, runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
It operates on Hello UI based on Android 16 and will receive three OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
A key highlight is the 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery with a 68W fast charger included in the box. Despite the large battery, the phone remains slim at 7.99mm and weighs about 193 grams.
It also features dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio support.
For photography, the device offers a 50MP Sony Lytia 710 main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide lens that doubles as a macro camera, along with a 32MP front camera.
It also includes Moto AI 2.0 tools such as AI Image Studio, Sketch to Image, Style Sync, and Text to Sticker.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be available in three variants starting at ₹26,999 and will go on sale from March 12 via Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and retail stores.
