Sarojininagar in Delhi is gearing up for one of its most vibrant community events as MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh spearheads a large-scale youth festival featuring a live performance by music icon Yo Yo Honey Singh.
The organisers will bring the area alive with music, energy and youth engagement during the event scheduled for Saturday, 22 November, from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Handicraft Festival Grounds, Smriti Upvan.
Dr Singh has directly conceptualised the programme, themed ‘Inspiration With Entertainment’, to create a platform that blends motivation with cultural expression.
His outreach has mobilised an impressive participation of over 100 schools and colleges, more than 100 RWAs, and a similar number of market and community associations, making it one of Sarojininagar’s most inclusive public gatherings.
Speaking ahead of the event, Dr Singh emphasised that the youth represent a united force capable of shaping India’s present and future. He noted that the concert symbolises confidence in young people’s talent, energy and willingness to contribute positively to society.
Honey Singh to Deliver a High-Impact Live Performance
India’s most influential pop and hip-hop artist Yo Yo Honey Singh is set to deliver a high-octane concert for thousands of attendees.
With more than 250 hit tracks across Bollywood, Punjabi and independent music, over 4.5 billion global streams, multiple songs crossing 100 million views on YouTube, and a vast social media following, he remains a strong favourite among young audiences.
His journey back into the music spotlight after personal challenges has further cemented his image as an artist known for resilience and determination.
Entry to the event will be strictly through authorised passes, with extensive safety measures implemented. A high-tech control room, 150 AI-enabled cameras, DFMD scanners, hand-held detectors, 200 trained private security professionals, and coordinated police deployment will oversee venue security.
District authorities have coordinated dedicated entry and exit routes and implemented specialised traffic planning.
Dr Rajeshwar Singh’s vision for youthful participation and community spirit has fully prepared Sarojininagar for a memorable, world-class musical evening expected to draw thousands.
